lib-ir: Over 3000 titles in Scholars' Bank!

Thanks to the hard work of people throughout the library, we now have 
over 3000 titles in Scholars' Bank!  Scholars' Bank currently contains 
51 communities, with a total of 299 collections.  Many of the 3012 
titles can be found in multiple collections.  For instance, Honors 
College theses can be found in both the Honors Theses collection and the 
collection for the academic department or program of the student who 
wrote the thesis.


Communities added within the last couple of months include:  ERIC 
Clearinghouse on Educational Management, with 195 publications; 
Community Service Center of Oregon, with 8 publications so far; and the 
Department of Anthropology, set up last week and starting out with 2 items.


Other collections added recently include:  Several individual city and 
county collections containing Oregon local documents, added by the 
Documents Center; our first emeritus faculty collection, added as part 
of the Faculty Research community; and the library publications Building 
Knowledge, FYI and Library Notes.


A special thank you goes to everyone who has made contact with campus 
communities over the years in an effort to interest them in Scholars' 
Bank!  We have had many successes on this front but there is still much 
to do.  I look forward to working with all of you in building Scholars' 
Bank in years to come.
