lib-ir: supporting pages for SB

I'm wondering what the best way is to provide easy
access to handouts on SB for subject specialists. I have
made PDFs of all of the supporting pages for
SB (23 of them). I also have made PDFs of
a number - but not all - of the communities and
collections. PDFs print better than the actual
web pages and make better handouts.

I had a conversation with some of you a while
back about loading the SB contextual pages
into Scholars' Bank itself. I think this conversation
was with Eliz and Barbara and we thought it
was a good idea. What does everyone think
of this? I can see a couple of advantages and
disadvantages.

Advantages:

- It makes all the handouts available for anyone to
download without needing to find them in some
poison directory or some other storage spot
- it makes the content of all of the pages searchable
within SB itself

Disadvantages:

- As pages are updated, I would either need to replace
files, keep older and newer versions of the same file,
or not update files at all

Thoughts from the group?
