lib-ir: IRG meeting : date change?

I will be out of town on April 4th, the day that we
would have had our next regularly-scheduled
IR meeting. Could we meet on the 11th
instead? Let me know.

I would like us to meet because I think there
is quite a lot going on that we can talk about.

Here are some topics I'd like to talk about:

1) I think that we have enough momentum
going now that I'd like to pursue seriously
trying to get an advisory board set up.
http://libweb.uoregon.edu/catdept/irg/SB_Advisory.html

2) I have been pursuing information for how
to tackle the grad school's resistance to ETDs.
I've gathered some interesting ideas from
other sites that I'd like to discuss with you.

3) Given the growing interest in the archive,
I think some overhauling and enhancement
is in order. a) One area of concern for me is
having the Libraries' band across the top.
b) Another is the difficulty of finding the site.
Several faculty have asked why it isn't
linked from the UO's home page - let
alone the Libraries' home page. c) Another
issue is setting up statistics on use of
the site. I'm asking some sites that have
such stats operational exactly how they
did it. Corey has been looking at this for
a while, too.

If you have other agenda topics, please
let me know.
