lib-ir: RE: Terminal Projects to be added

Tom,

I think point 1 is certainly doable and also necessary. It may be too early
to discuss points 2 & 3 in more detail. My impression is that the department
will want both the print and electronic for the next year or two, but I am
checking with Rich on this. If and when the print stops, a link to from the
database to the IR could be established (as there is a link from the IR to
the database. From our meeting with Rich, Andrew, and Scott, I also got the
impression that the Documents will no longer need to update the database

This raises some questions about the connection between the Document
Center's PPPM projects database page and the future IR location.

1. If we receive paper copies of PPPM projects in Documents, as well as the
pdf version for the IR location, what do you think about our including the
url for the electronic version in our database record?
1. Once we stop getting paper copies, I'd like to put a link to the IR
location for PPPM projects on our database page. OK?
3. I think we agreed that once the electronic submission process has been
established, there will no longer be a need for us to update our
database. Is that your understanding?
