Re: lib-ir: IRG meeting cancelled for today
Here is a question that I was going to bring up today at our meeting, but
will mention here. In your discussions with Ed Teague and others at AAA
regarding the terminal projects - what answers did you receive? I've been
part of e-mail discussions with Ed Teague and others (Carol I think you
were cc:'d on a message or two) on this topic. We've been looking at this
from the Thesis/Dissertation end - e.g. are terminal projects the
equivalents of theses and dissertations when done for a graduate degree,
and therefore are they a permanent record of the University. Currently I
don't think we have an answer to that question, we were looking to meet on
this topic sometime this spring. Thus, I'm interested to see how this
discussion fits with the role of the IR (maybe it's inconsequential), and
to find out if there is updated information that I don't have.
Thanks,
Heather
