lib-ir: Northwest Review - potential for institutional repository?
- I know the Northwest Review has been talked about re: digital library
projects. Now its archival priority is on the English Department's
Campaign Priority list. Barbara
- Northwest Review will continue and enlarge its Literary Editing
internship program, providing a participatory learning experience for
students whose career plans include the literary arts industry or
teaching. With endowment support and matching funds from other campus
units, Northwest Review could regularly publish work emerging from campus
sponsored literary events (symposia, readings, multi-media arts events).
The Review could plan special issues related to topics being developed on
campus (e.g. emerging ethnic writers, translation, environmental
writing), and in collaboration with University of Oregon Press add to its
series of Northwest Review Books on such themes. The complete archive
of issues of Northwest Review should be made available for research and
teaching.
