Mint Global and Orbis provide access to information about public and private companies and financial institutions from the U.S. Europe, Canada, Latin America, Asia and Africa. Mint Global and Orbis offer different interfaces to the same data.
To use either Mint Global or Orbis from off-campus, you need to log into the campus WebVPN. You will need your uoregon.edu email address and the password for this account.
To connect to either Mint Global or Orbis:
- Log into the WebVPN.
- After connecting, return to the library's home page, with the UO Library System link.
- Follow the Articles, Databases, Indexes link. In the A-Z list, search for your database.
- The Mint Global or Orbis link will now take you to the resource.
