To add the Knight Reference black and white printer to your Mac laptop, follow the instructions below:
1. Download and install using the driver from here.


- Double click on RicohPrinterDrivers2.1.dmg
- Double click on the .dmg file and and get a package named RicohPrinterDrivers.pkg
- Double click on the Ricoh package to start the install.
- Click on continue
- Read and agree to the license.
- When prompted, provide the username and password of an Admin user on your Mac (this is often your login username and password)
- Let the installer complete.
2. Install the Printer on Your Mac

Open System preferences and click on Print & Fax
- Unlock the panel using the lock (if necessary) and select the plus key to add a printer:
Select an IP Printer with LPD protocol.
- Fill in the "Address: lib-kni-ps01"
- "Queue: reference"
- "Name: reference"

To find the "Print Using" entry, from the drop down list select "Select Printer Sofware." You will then see a very long list of available printers. In the search field at the top enter "8200", and you will get a much shortened list of print drivers available. Select the driver, "Ricoh Aficio SP 8200DN PS."

- Press "Add" on the Add Printer window.
- This window comes but, ignore it and continue.
The printer "Reference" should now be available as a printer choice.
