Introduction

Willis Dunagan was a farmer in Marion County, Oregon. He raised wheat, hops, and cattle.

The collection contains diaries for 1865-1897 (16 vol.). Vol. 3 of the diaries includes a memorandum of a cattle drive from Camp Floyd, Utah, to Meadow Creek, California, Aug. 16-Oct. 4, 1869(?), by an unknown diarist. Also included are a daybook, 1866-1895; and legal documents relating to the estate of Israel Chambers of Marion County, 1859-1861.
