Review articles summarize current thinking on a given topic, and are rich in citations to original research. Medline and Biosis can both search just for review articles. A good review article can save you hours of database searching.

Web of Science (aka: Science Citation Index)
This database will show you articles that cite any given article. Use keywords to find a relevant article, then find articles that have linked to it at a later date.
