Group Study and Classroom

Library seating.

The UO Portland Library and Learning Commons has a group study and classroom located on the ground floor of the Library.

Room Use Policy

Priority use of the group study room is for University of Oregon students, instructors, and academic support providers. Its primary purpose is to provide flexible, technology-enabled work space in support of the academic mission of the UO in Portland.  In order to preserve this flexibility for student use, the room is not generally available for regularly scheduled meetings of term-length courses.

Advance room requests may be emailed to pdxinfo@uoregon.edu, for approval by Library staff. Individual students and student groups may use the room for drop-in study by requesting access at the library reference desk, where this does not conflict with scheduled uses.  Other groups must schedule the room in advance.  There is no drop-in use for non-academic or non-UO users.

Subject to availability, individual students or study groups may use the group study room on a drop-in basis, with the understanding that the space needs to be shared with other drop-in users.
