Summit Migration TrainingOne of the most important aspects of the migration from INN-Reach to WorldCat Navigator involves preparing staff for a major change in workflow. OCLC provides "train the trainer" session for 10 Core Trainers in the Orbis Cascade Alliance.Core Trainers will conduct training to prepare key staff at member libraries for the transition and provide front-line support at each member library. Core trainers will also serve as resource people for staff and will help select replacements when they are no longer able to serve. Currently, regional training is planned in Portland, Seattle, Eugene, Tri-Cities, and Spokane. Multiple sessions will be offered to accommodate vacation schedules. Training will begin as soon as VDX is operational. It is expected that training will occur between mid to late August and September. Core Trainers More names will be added to this list as more people confirm they will be able to serve.
