SCOREOGRAPHY of WOMEN COMPOSERS' MUSIC

The Holdings of The University of Oregon Knight Library's
Music Services Department

 

    This collection of music scores and parts is available to the public and may be borrowed from the Knight Library through your local library's interlibrary loan department, with the exception of the following call numbers:

     

    • [MUS REF.] These are Music Reference materials and don't circulate from the library. They are located in the Music Services Department.

       

    • [OR COLL.] These are pieces of music in the Oregon Collection, located in the Knight Library, and are non-circulating, for preservation purposes.

       

    • [MUSIC SHEET] This location designates a piece of sheet music in the Music Service's Sheet Music Collection. These also do not circulate.

      For information on each collection or a map of each section, click on that collection's name.

    Note: Items marked with an asterisk (*) designate those scores for which we have a recording in our Douglass Room collection. While these recordings are available for checkout only to UO Faculty and GTF's, they may be listened to in our listening facilities. A list of recordings of music by women composers will be available on the web in the near future. It will be entitled the Discography of Women Composers' Music
