DISCOGRAPHY of WOMEN COMPOSERS' MUSIC

This is a discography (list of recordings) of some of the Knight Library's Douglass Room collection. The recordings usually do not circulate outside the Library, except to the faculty and Graduate Teaching Fellows of the University of Oregon. However, any item listed as Doug. Circ. is part of our Circulating Compact Disc Collection, and may be borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, and by anyone with a UO-approved card.

Because of copyright considerations, we do not honor requests for copies of these materials. The call numbers designate the type of recording material represented. Those call numbers preceded by the designation PHONODISC are LP's; those with COMPACT DISC and CD's; and those with CASSETTE are cassettes or cassette kits.

Note:Items marked with an asterisk (*) designate those recordings for which we own a score in our Music Services Department score collection.

The list of scores by women composers owned by the University is available on the web and entitled the Scoreography of Music by Women Composers

For more information on women composers and musicians, see the Guide to Resources on Women in Music on our web page.
