This is a discography (list of recordings) of some of the Knight Library's Douglass Room jazz collection. It also provides an index to those blues artists whose recordings are not included in this list, but appear on the Blues in the Knight discography.
Most recordings do not circulate outside the Library, except to the faculty and Graduate Teaching Fellows of the University of Oregon. The exception to this rule are those recordings found in the Circulating Collection, which have the call number Doug. Circ, and may circulate to anyone with a UO library card, and to Interlibrary loan patrons.
Other resources available for listening to jazz at the University of Oregon include the Database of Recorded American Music and Smithsonian Global Sound.
Both of these databases provide full online access to recordings held by them, and can be listened to in the UO Libraries and at home if you are a UO student, faculty or staff and have set up your computer to be recognized as one. For more information about these resources, see Audio Resources Online, available from the Videos & Music connector on the UO Libraries' web page.
Paper versions of the jazz discography are available at the Douglass Room Listening Desk.
