This is a discography (list of recordings) of some of the Knight Library's Douglass Room gospel music collection, which was largely formed from a gift by the former director of the UO Gospel Ensemble and Singers, the Eugene community gospel choir Inspirational Sounds, and teacher of gospel music history and voice, John Gainer.
The recordings do not circulate outside the Library, except to the faculty and Graduate Teaching Fellows of the University of Oregon, with the exception of those items whose location is Doug. Circ. That collection is available for public borrowers, as well as interlibrary loan, through your local public library.
Because of copyright considerations, we do not honor requests for copies of these materials.
A paper version of this discography is available at the Douglass Room Listening Desk.
For those of you who want biographical information about the performers, we have added the official web sites (when found) for each performer whose name is in blue. To get to those web sites, just click on the blue name.
