Video Conferencing
The Media Services Educational Video Group originates and receives teleconferences, telecourses and videoconferences for the University of Oregon community. Supported technologies include satellite, compressed video, and IP teleconferencing.
The primary video conferencing site, Studio A at the Knight Library, is equipped with five large monitors, two remote control cameras, microphones for presenter and audience, VCR, visualizer (document camera), ethernet connection for access to the Internet, phone and fax lines, projection screen, and scan convertor (to convert computer output to video). Other equipment can be added depending on the needs of a particular event.
Please call well in advance to ensure availability and discuss your event with Media Services staff. Rates vary and may include connection fees. For more information contact Lynette Boone at 346-1943.
