Our collection includes all border quadrangles with Washington and Idaho and all maps below the 42nd parallel, Oregon's southern border with California and Nevada, from 41 degrees, 52 minutes, 30 seconds North to 42 degrees North.

Explanatory notes:

"Quadrangle name"

OQ = orthophotoquad.

"Edition"

P = Provisional Edition

"Print type"

2 copies: Indicates the MAP Library has two printings with identical dates: 1 with green screen and 1 without.
Desert: Indicates the MAP Library has only the copy without green area screen, typically because there is no green screen available.

Ozalid: Indicates the orthophotoquad is printed on ozalid paper.

Litho: Indicates the orthophotoquad is a lithographic print.

Photographic: Indicates the orthophotoquad available is printed on photographic paper.

Advance Sheet: Generally "T" maps compiled at 1:24,000-scale the same time the 1:62,500-scale maps were published. Sometimes printed on Ozalid paper.

"Notes"

PR = Photorevised.
PI = Photoinspected.

R = Revised.

MR = Minor Revisions.

CRG, NSA: Shows the Columbia River Gorge, National Scenic Area's boundaries.

USFS: Maps issued jointly by the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Forest Service, the majority of which show national forest boundaries. These are officially referred to as "Single-Edition Quadrangle Maps" by the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Forest Service.
