MAP Library: GIS data in the Libraries

A selection of GIS data is now available to use across the entire library system! Whether you are on the Science ITC or the Learning Commons, you will have access to a wide variety of GIS data. Data includes:

ESRI's standard data package
World and North American base data, imagery, and demographic data
City of Eugene 2' countour lines
CBD and full city.
UO Campus data

Connecting to the data folder.

From within Arc Catalog, you should see the share \\confusion\GISData appear:

If not, select the 'connect to folder' button from the toolbar:

and enter the path exactly as it is shown: \\confusion\GISData

This path is CASE SENSITIVE.

You should now be able to use the Libraries' GIS data from any library workstation with ArcMap installed.
