Interlibrary loan allows those with law library borrowing privileges to request library items held outside the University of Oregon Libraries.
Try Summit first for books
Law School faculty and students should first use the
Summit Union Catalog to try and find and request desired items not available in the
UO Libraries Catalog.
Summit is also a useful alternative to recalling UO Libraries material that is currently checked out to another, and can be used as well to borrow material that the UO Libraries have but do not allow to circulate.
Use ILL if items, including journal articles, are not available through UO Library or Summit
If such items cannot be found or requested through Summit, then use the main UO Libraries
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service, located in Knight Library. See the links to online forms.
Make sure your library patron record contains your email address
Make sure your
patron record contains your current email address if you wish to be able to receive some Ill items (as well as any other notices relating to your items) by email.
