Reed Group Study Room, 235 Knight Library

The Reed Group Study Room can be used by a group of students needing a place to work on collaborative projects. It may also be used by faculty or GTFs for course-related instruction on an ad-hoc basis.

Description

• 15 chairs
• 1 table that seats 8-10 people
• 7 small tables placed against the wall
  
• Ceiling mounted screen
• Blackboard
• Ethernet and electrical outlets

Audio Visual Equipment
Laptops: Faculty and GTFs may reserve laptops from the library's Laptop Checkout Service Desk (143 Knight Library) if access to computing resources are needed for instructional purposes.

Projector/Workstation Cart: Faculty, GTFs, and students may reserve a computer/projector workstation from the Laptop Checkout Office.

Policies

• The room may be reserved for two-hour sessions for groups up to 15. Due to high demand, only one booking per day, per person. To reserve this room, go here to check availability and place your request.
• Requests need to be submitted 24-hours in advance of the desired meeting time. For weekend reservations, your request must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on Friday of that week.
• A sign will be posted each morning outside the room listing the day's reservations.
• When the room is not reserved, it is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Individual users may be asked to leave if needed by a group.
  
• The room remains unlocked at all times.
• The Library is not responsible for personal items left in the room. Found items will be taken to Library Administration, Rm. 115.
• If library material that has been checked out is no longer needed, please return them to the Checkout/Information Desk. Library materials left in study rooms are not checked in before re-shelving.
• Please leave the room in good order and return any checked out equipment.
