Stanley B. Greenfield Faculty Awards

The Stanley B. Greenfield Faculty Awards Program recognizes the need to enhance the Library's collection of research materials. The program was named in honor of Stanley B. Greenfield, former professor of English at the University of Oregon, member of the Friends of the Libraries Board of Directors, and long-time Library advocate. Through this program, UO faculty members nominate significant research titles for possible purchase. The Library Administration will select titles from the nominees and make awards to acquire those titles. All purchases are funded through the Greenfield Awards Endowment Fund.

This year's nomination deadline is Friday, March 6, 2009.
There are two ways to nominate titles for review:

  1. Use the online nomination form.
  2. Print a copy of the nomination form and send it to Library Administration, Knight Library.

If you have questions, or are interested in making a contribution to the Greenfield Awards Endowment Fund, please call Keri Aronson at (541) 346-1890, or e-mail her at keria@uoregon.edu.
