Math homework help is now available in the newly renovated Mathematics Library, which reopened recently in 218 Fenton Hall. Hours during fall, winter, and spring terms are 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday.
With the reopening, the number of workstations in the Math Library has been increased; four academic stations and three Internet stations are now available.
A highlight of the reopening is the introduction of a new service that addresses the campus-wide need for homework help for students enrolled in UO math courses. In response, the UO Libraries has implemented a program in the Math Library in which advanced students in math staff the service desks not only to assist students in locating and using math-related resources but also to provide them with help in learning concepts taught in lower-division math classes. The program provides drop-in homework help to UO students in lower-level math courses during Math Library hours.
