Faculty & GTFs! Get Help from CET Using Meebo

There's a new and easy way for faculty and GTFs to get their technology questions answered. If you want to create a classroom teaching tool, presentation, use Blackboard, or have any other technology-related questions, you can contact CET using Meebo, a web-based instant messaging service.

For example, suppose you aren't quite sure what technology you'll need. Do you need to use a scanner or need assistance with Photoshop or PowerPoint to complete the task? Chat in real time with a consultant at the UO Libraries' Center for Educational Technologies using the CET web page, with no downloads, passwords, or additional software required.

To use Meebo, just visit CET's homepage during regular hours and click on the link labeled "chat with us."  You will be directed to the CET's Meebo chat page. If you get the message that CET is online, all that's left to do is type your question and wait for a response!
