The sites listed below are excellent starting points for accessing the many reference sources found on the Internet.

  • Librarian's Index to the Internet is a searchable and annotated subject directory of more than 14,000 Internet resources, selected and evaluated by librarians.
  • Internet Public Library includes a list of reference sites by topic and type of resource.
  • INFOMINE General Reference Resources provides access to frequently used quick information sources.
  • INFOMINE Scholarly Resources features well organized access to important university level research and educational tools on the Internet.
  • Internet Scout Report Archives is a searchable database of high quality web sites from the weekly Scout Reports. Includes great reviews. Browse these research-oriented web sites by subject.
