Most Influential Political Science Journals - Access Through the UO Libraries

Introduction

The following list of highly-regarded journals relevant to political science was take from Garand & Giles¹ (2003), which is the most recent such article I could find. The list is based on the subjective evaluations of 565 political science faculty member at universities in the United States, as surveyed in 2002.

The list below gives the 30 most highly ranked journals, and shows what the UO Libraries' holdings are, and what electronic access is available. The entries for each journal show the title (in bold if we have a current subscription), the Libraries' print holdings, and what we have access to electronically. Note that there may be other electronic access that duplicates what is show here. Use FindText to check for other online access points. Links in the records will take you to the specified electronic copies, or in the case of the "print" link will perform a search for the journal in the library catalog to allow for locating the print copies.
