EndNote: Exporting/Importing from ProQuest

Direct Export: ProQuest

NOTE: You must be searching the database on the same computer that has the EndNote program.

  • From database, mark records to keep.
  • Click on Export (located above titles)
  • Click on Export directly to ProCite, EndNote or Reference Manager.
  • EndNote will open, and you will be prompted to open an EndNote library. Once you choose a library, records will be automatically entered.

Saving records for importing: ProQuest

  • From database, mark records to keep.
  • Click on Export (located above titles)
  • Choose Download in a format compatible with ProCite, EndNote, Reference Manager and RefWorks
  • Use your browser's File, and Save As features. Be certain that file is saved in text (*.txt) format.
