EndNote: Importing from Early English Books Online (EEBO)

Saving records for importing: Early English Books Online (EEBO)

Note: With this method you will be saving records from a database in text format and then importing them into EndNote. You do not need to search and save items from the database on the same computer that has EndNote program.

• From database, mark records to keep.
• At top of the page: Click on Marked List
• Click on Download
• Change Select Download format: to EndNote
• Click on Download
• File download box will open. Save file. (will automatically save in text (*.txt) format - do not alter.)
• When importing to EndNote be sure to use appropriate filter
