EndNote: Importing from CSA

Saving records for importing: CSA

Note: With this method you will be saving records from a database in text format and then importing them into EndNote. You do not need to search and save items from the database on the same computer that has EndNote program.

• From database, mark records to keep.
• At top of the page: Click on Save, Print, Email On the "Save/Print/Email" screen, select the following:
• Records: Marked or All
• Record Format: Change Short Format to Full Format
• Save: File Format: PC or Mac (as appropriate)
• Click the 'Save' button. Your web browser will ask you where to save the file. If your web browser gives you the option to save in different file formats, be sure to save as a "Text Only (*.txt)" file
• When importing to EndNote be sure to use appropriate filter
