NOTE: You must be searching the database on the same computer that has EndNote.- From database, check items to export by "add to personal list"
- From tabs at top: Click on Export Options
- Choose Full Entry on the Entry Format
- Choose EndNote from Output
Use the export button to export selected entries to EndNote, ProCite or Reference Manager in RIS format. One of these programs must be installed on your computer for export to work.
Saving records for importing: ABC-CLIO
Note: With this method you will be saving records from a database in text format and then importing them into EndNote. You do not need to search and save items from the database on the same computer that has EndNote program.
- From database, check item to "add to personal list"
- From tabs at top: Click on Export Options
- Choose Full Entry on the Entry Format
- Choose Tab-Delimited Display as your Output Type
- Click on Submit
- Records will be displayed on the screen.
- Use your browsers File, and Save As features. Be certain that file is saved in text (*.txt) format.
- Import into EndNote using appropriate filter
