Hours
Our service desks are open all the hours that the Knight Library is open. During academic terms, professional reference assistance is usually available at the Documents service desk from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday each week. During Sumer Session, librarians are on duty from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. During other hours the desk is staffed by student employees, who can provide assistance in locating materials in the collections but are not prepared to answer in-depth reference questions. Our e-mail reference service is always open. Telephone reference service is available by calling (541) 346-3070. The Ask a Librarian link in the header will take you to a page to request general library reference assistance.
