Find Articles with Known Citations
To find an article for which you have an article citation, use the the "citation linker" in

To find articles by topic, author, or other information, use a periodical index or its online equivalent, a database. If you need to verify a citation (for instance, you have incomplete information about an article), use an index or database.
The UO Libraries now have a tool called OneSearch to make finding articles easier. OneSearch can search several databases, library catalogs, and electronic resources simultaneously, and return the search results to you in a single, merged list.
There are two ways to search for articles in OneSearch:
- QuickSets
choose this if you're just starting out, or not sure what databases will work best for your topic.
- Advanced Search
choose this if you know the specific subject or other type of category in which you need to search.
Find Indexes and Databases
Through OneSearch, you also can search for a specific database or index in Find Database.
- Click on a letter of the alphabet to see a list of databases starting with that letter.
- You also can can enter the title of the database, OR search by keyword or category.
- Click on the "i" icon to learn more about the index or database.
- Click on the database name itself to go directly into that database (not via the OneSearch interface)

Find E-Journals
FindText's e-journal service provides access to specific journal titles and subject category lists.
