| The After September 11 Teach-In was held in the Ballroom of the Erb Memorial Union during the evening of October 2nd, 2001. The event was sponsored by Concerned Faculty for Peace and Justice. Featured speakers included experts on Islam, the Middle East, South Asia, and U.S. foreign policy. The 80-minute plenary was followed by smaller discussions on specific topics. The following is a readings packet of materials from the teach-in.
Moderators: Daniel Goldrich (on U.S. foreign policy), Shaul Cohen (on the Middle East), Anita Weiss (on South Asia), Mario Sifuentez (ASUO Multicultural Advocate), Sandra Morgen (Center for the Study of Women in Society), and Tammam Adi (Islamic Cultural Center of Eugene).
