Publications include the books World Architecture Index (a Choice Outstanding Academic title), Index to Italian Architecture, Henry Moore: Bibliography and Reproductions Index, and the electronic resource, The Architecture of the University of Oregon, which won a 2005 ARLIS/NA publication award. Visual Arts editor/bibliographer of the online reference work, Resources for College Libraries.

Elected member of the Standing Committee, Art Libraries Section, International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions. Currently president & webmaster of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians. Past leadership roles: President (1995-96), East Region representative (1989-90), of the Art Libraries Society of North America, and chair of its Northwest (2001-3) and Southeast (1987) chapters; Chair of the ACRL Arts Section (2001) American Library Association.
