Presentation Practice Room

Getting ready for an in-class presentation? Reserve the Learning Commons Presentation Practice Room (147B Knight Library) to gain confidence with campus-standard classroom equipment.

The room is available for use by current UO students and faculty for two hour sessions. Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Equipment includes a lectern with control panel, wall-mounted plasma screen display, and whiteboard. You will need to provide a laptop or arrange for a loan (*). If you want to videotape your practice session, check out a digital camcorder from the Center for Media and Educational Technologies.

(*) Effective June, 2009, laptop loans for students are available from the Science Library. Faculty and GTFs in need of a laptop loan should contact the Center for Media and Educational Technologies.
