The University of Oregon Libraries provides two types of
workstations for use by library patrons. Academic Stations offer UO
students, faculty and staff a full suite of applications for Internet
access and software needed for word processing, presentations and
graphic work. A
UO ID, Duck ID, is required when using an Academic Station. More >>
The Libraries Internet only computers provide full access to the library catalog, the library's electronic databases and resources, information about the library, and open Internet access. Internet only stations may have a time limit to insure equitable access during busy times. More >>
The Learning Commons features six high-performance collaborative workstations for small groups of students working together on technology-based projects. UO network i.d. is required . More >>
The library's popular laptop checkout service is located in Room 143, near the Collaborative Workstations. Forty wireless-equipped laptops are available. Current UO students only. More >>
Configured with A/V and computer projection hardware typical of a UO classroom, the presentation practice room (147B) is available to students who are developing and practicing in-class presentations and can be booked for use whenever Knight Library is open. More >>
