The information on this site is intended to facilitate the ongoing database and serials cancellation project by providing timely and up to date versions of all pertinent documents, including the FAQ, instructions and time line. These documents will be revised as needed and in response to questions, concerns and financial developments within the campus community.
Adopt a Journal is Coming: In response to a number of requests, the UO Libraries will be offering an "Adopt a Journal" option for faculty and staff once the lists of journal titles to be cancelled have been finalized. Individuals interested in saving a journal from cancellation will be offered one of two choices:
- Make a financial gift to the UO Foundation for the Library to use in maintaining a subscription
- Donate a volume of a journal (i.e., a year of unbound issues) to the Library for addition to the collection
Instructions for both options will be made available once the lists are posted to this site in April.
Database & Journal Title Lists:
Library subject specialists will work with faculty to identify titles for possible cancellation. Lists of those titles will be linked below for review by the entire campus community. Please contact your
subject specialist for further information.
