CET offers a full range of Web and multimedia services to support teaching and research at the UO. Our services range from training and consulting on how to prepare course materials for online or multimedia presentations to the complete design, development and implementation of instructional projects. Whether we're doing on-on-one training or full project consulting, our process always begins with understanding an instructor's teaching objectives, target audience, technical requirements and timeline. Web and Multimedia Design and Development

Students today are used to getting information in a multitude of ways, often at the same time. Combine this with different learning styles and instructors have to begin to think beyond the lecture format to teach and engage today's learners. Interactive web and multimedia tools are one way to do this. CET offers free consulting, instructional design, graphic design, and technology development services for UO instructors who would like to develop interactive media for use in UO CRN courses. Design and development to support research is also available at a fee of $50/hr.

CD and DVD Mastering

UO Instructors can use CET equipment to create CDs and DVDs for presentations and storage.

Digital Video and Audio

CET has the software and hardware instructors need to digitize audio and video for web and multimedia presentation.

Graphics and Still Images

Graphics and digital images can be powerful communication tools in the classroom. CET can show instructors how to create your own graphics, digitize photos, slides and negatives and place them in your presentations for the most effective use in teaching.

OCR Text Scanning

Convert printed text into a digital document for use in online or multimedia presentations.

Web Publishing

CET can train you in the latest web publishing tools from Blackboard and Dreamweaver to GoLive and Flash to name a few.
