The Materials Processing and Conservation Unit (MPCU), part of Metadata Services and Digital Projects, coordinates the preservation, conservation, reformatting, repair, binding, bookplating, and labeling of the Libraries' physical and digital collections in collaboration with the following library departments and units: Access Services (especially Stacks), Special Collections & University Archives, Collection Development and Acquisitions, Government Documents, Library Systems, and others.
