Metadata Services and Digital Projects

The Metadata Services and Digital Projects Administrative Team comprises several members.

Mary Grenci, Interim Department Head

• Oversees and sets policy for all departmental functions
• Serves as the primary contact between the department, other Library departments, and the public
• Represents the department on Library Council and other decision-making bodies
• Provides leadership for the Libraries' digital library efforts
• Serves as the Libraries' metadata liaison to campus and external grant-funded digital projects
• Serves as the immediate supervisor for all Team Leaders
• Serves as the Libraries' cataloging representative to the Orbis/Cascade Alliance

Lori Robare, Assistant Department Head

• Oversees monographic cataloging processes, including new projects
• Coordinates cataloging of non-serial electronic resources
• Trains departmental and other Libraries staff involved in cataloging
• Fills in for the Department Head in her absence

Catherine Flynn, Technical Projects & Administrative Support Specialist

• Serves as the department's Student Coordinator
• Compiles and analyzes statistics for cataloging and outsourcing operations
  
• Acts as department liaison to reference librarians and subject specialists for Rush and Priority requests of in-process materials
  
• Provides general departmental support
  
• Assists with the coordination of special projects
