Recalls

All borrowers may request items that are checked out to another person. To place a recall on an item click on the button when you're viewing the record for the item you want.

When an item is recalled from you it means another borrower has placed a hold on it. If you just checked the item out it will not be due until you have had it for 2 weeks. If you have already had it for 2 weeks or longer, you will have seven days to return the item.

If an item is recalled from you, return it by the recall due date. If you still need it, place another hold on it, or (if you have Summit borrowing privileges) place a Summit request.

Recall Fines:

Recall fines apply to all borrowers and are $4 per item per day to a $40 maximum.

Recall Notices:

Recall notices are e-mailed.

Recalls during summers and intersessions

Materials are subject to recall at any time. If you plan to be out of town, we urge you to return borrowed items or arrange with someone to receive notices and return recalled material for you. The libraries are open during intersessions to serve the needs of patrons who remain on campus: recalled items may be due any time the libraries are open.
