Library Resource Management includes Budget and Management Information Services.
The Director of Library Resource Management produces and maintains the library's budgets; coordinates fiscal activities with the university Office of Resource Management; and provides information about the library's finances, productivity, and staffing.
The library is a member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and reports statistics annually to this organization and well as to the American Library Association, the Oregon State Library and other organizations. Additionally, information is provided on an ad hoc basis to library decision makers, the university, Oregon University System offices, and other agencies. The Director of Library Resource Management leads the Libraries' Assessment Team. This team helps generate and distribute evaluative information on library programs and services.
The Director of Library Resource Management is the library's grant administrator. She serves as liaison between library Principal Investigators and the Office of Research Services and Administration.
Library Payroll and Personnel Services coordinates student employment in the library, processes payroll documents, and provides personnel support services for library managers and supervisors. Library Payroll and Personnel Services manager is Barbara Butler, bsb@uoregon.edu.
